Tax Information

Assessment
Residential Land and improvements are assessed at 70% of the fair value.

Annual Tax Levy
Annual taxes are levied on June 1st for the calendar tax year January 1st to December 31st.

Tax Notices
Tax notices are sent out to property owners in the beginning of June.
If you have not received your notice, please contact the Warman Town Office - 933-2133

Due Date
The deadline for payment taxes is December 31st for the current years levy.

Discounts for Early Payment
Discounts are only offered on the current years taxes.
See discounts as outlined below:
If paid by:
June 30th - 6%
July 31st - 5%
August 31st - 4%
September 30th - 3%
October 31st - 2%
November 30th - 1%

All outstanding tax arrears must be paid before discounts are allowed on current taxes.

No discounts are allowed on local improvement frontage tax levies or tax arrears.

Penalties
A 10% penalty is added January 1st of each year to all outstanding taxes.

Water
Warman is supplied with treated water from the City of Saskatoon through Saskatchewan Water Corporation and the Towns water distribution/sewage collection system.

Meter Deposit & Prepayment:
5/8 Meter - $210.00 (120.00 & 90.00)
3/4 Meter - $290.00 (200.00 & 90.00)

Water Rates: (subject to change)
Quarterly - $66.00/6000 gallons
Monthly - $22.00/2000 gallons
Weekly - $5.50/500 gallons
Overage - $11.00/1000 gallons

Residential Sewer Rates: (subject to change)
Quarterly - $30.00 minimum
Monthly - $10.00 minimum
Weekly - $2.50 minimum

*minimum is per dwelling, not unit. If over $100.00 of water is consumed in a 3 month period then sewage rate is 20% of water usage.

Commercial Sewer Rates: (subject to change)
Quarterly - $30.00 minimum
Monthly - $10.00 minimum
Weekly - $2.50 minimum
