Emergency & Protective Services

Warman Volunteer Fire Department
Ambulance / Fire / Rescue Services - 911

The Warman Fire Department was created through a Town of Warman Bylaw in 1964. The purpose of the Fire Department was to provide fire suppression and fire protection for the residents of the Town of Warman.
There have been many changes over the years in personnel, equipment, facilities and training. Currently the Warman Volunteer Fire Department operates from a new Fire Hall located at the corner of 4th Street & Centennial Boulevard which was constructed in 2003 - 2004 and officially opened on April 24, 2004. The department operates three pumper trucks and one rescue unit as well as one rapid response unit, providing service to the residents of the Town of Warman, as well as a portion of the RM of Corman Park in close proximity to the Town of Warman. In 1987 some members of the Warman Fire Department, in conjunction with MD Ambulance began advanced medical training to become Registered Volunteer First Responders. This program was designed to assist the Ambulance Service in providing pre-hospital emergency care to members of our community and surrounding area. Today a majority of the members of the Fire Department are Registered Volunteer First Responders and respond to medical emergencies within the area. The Rescue Unit is equipped with an Automated External Defibrillator, which the First Responders are certified to operate.
All Firefighters on the Warman Fire Department are involved with joint Fire training through the North Corman Park Fire Chiefs Association. When completed each Firefighter will be trained to NFPA Level l and ll Certification from the Provincial Fire Commissioners Office.

The Warman Fire Department is a founding member of the North Corman Park Fire Chiefs Association, which is comprised of the Fire Departments of the communities of Langham, Dalmeny, Martensville, Warman, Osler, Asquith and Hepburn. These Departments provide protective services for their respective communities and the northern portion of the RM of Corman Park. Intermunicipal agreements are in place between these communities and the RM of Corman Park which enhances the availability of equipment and personnel when required.

Currently the Warman Fire Department is dispatched by MD Ambulance in Saskatoon and can be accessed by calling 911.

Ambulance service for the Town of Warman and surrounding area is provided by MD Ambulance, who dispatch First Responders to provide initial assessment and care until the ambulance arrives. MD Ambulance can be contacted in the event of an emergency by calling 911.
