Diamond Arena

As in many communities the Warman Diamond Arena is the hub of activity in the winter months. Located on the corner of Pacific Avenue and 8th Avenue. The arena is open all year round and is a host to a various number of activities.


The arena is home to a full slate of minor hockey teams, including Pee Wee, Bantam & Midget AA teams, a Figure Skating Club, a number of Rec. Hockey teams, and a Senior Hockey Club. In the summer months the arena is booked with events that may vary from the Senior Merchants Fastball Club’s Annual Plastic Bat & Ball Tourney to the Annual Warman Diamond Rodeo and Family Days or the River Runners Dog Show. The lobby during the summer months becomes a Youth Centre. The arena was built in 1965 with a renovation project happening in 1996. The metal roofed facility has 5 hockey dressing rooms, 1 figure skating room and 1 referee room. The ice size is 85 x 190 and has a seating capacity of 600. The artificial ice plant provides the opportunity to start the winter season a little sooner than normal. Providing there are no unforeseen problems, the ice is ready for public use around the 27th/28th September.
