The Town of Warman features many beautiful and well maintained Parks and Green Spaces for your enjoyment. If you are looking for a place to host that family get together, an outdoor birthday party or just a relaxing evening to hang out and enjoy star gazing, we have a park to suit your needs. These beautiful, well maintained spaces can be enjoyed by all for almost any occasion.
Lions Park is located on 9th Avenue North and is the most popular park for those family get togethers. With plenty to offer for young and old. This park features a wonderful Spray Park for those hot summer days with a number of park benches and picnic tables for that afternoon picnic. In the same area of the spray park is a large CSA approved Play Structure that will entertain the little ones for hours. The Lions Fastball Diamond resides on the south edge of the park. This fastball diamond is complete with dugouts, home run fence and a concession area. Located in the north east corner are the Tennis Courts , Beach Volleyball Court and the Horse Shoe Pits. A main feature of Lions Park is the Gazebo. The gazebo provides that needed shelter and area to host those family outings or special events. Scattered throughout the park is a number of wood burning BBQ’s to assist you with those cooking duties. There are washrooms and coin operated showers on site. Please remember to book the fastball diamond and gazebo at the Recreation Office and remember that wood is not provided for the BBQ’s.
Prairie Oasis Park is located on 3rd Avenue South. Located between the Warman Golf Club and the Prairie Oasis Fastball Diamonds, makes this little park perfect for those with little ones waiting for other family members to finish their activities. There is plenty of Play Structures waiting to challenge the children. There are also a number of wood burning barbeques are on site for those family occasions. Washrooms are not on site, but a portable toilet is available. Remember that wood is not provided for the BBQ’s. Diamond Hill Park is located on 4th Street North. This play area includes a Play Structure with swings to entertain children for hours. This park plays host to the Diamond Hill Soccer Pitch in the summer months. In the winter, this park has a Toboggan Hill that is perfect for those winter activities that require a good snowfall. Wood burning barbeques are on site and remember that wood is not provided. No washrooms on site, but a portable toilet is available.
Crystal Lake is located on Crystal Springs Drive. This designated green space is a scenic area featuring a man made Lake and a Walking Path. There are park benches along the walking path to take that well earned rest or just to sit and chat to a neighbour. This is the first phase of a two part area that is scheduled for later development.
Linda Schaffer Park is a natural park and is design for specific reasons. This natural area is located Southwest of the Warman Elementary School, this park features a bridge over a natural pond and walking path. This park is design as part of the storm retention system to assist in the removal of large amounts of water when heavy rainfall occurs.
Centennial Park is located just off the 400 block of Crystal Spring Drive to the west. This gem of a park is tucked nicely behind some residential lots. The park was created with the financial assist of the Canada Celebrates Saskatchewan Grant in 2005. It features picnic tables, park benches and a great modern CSA approved play structure.
